TWO Years Old!

Charlotte Ann,

Our big TWO Year Old...you have brought more joy and laughter into our lives these past two years than we could have ever imagined! You are passionate, kind, hilarious, brilliant, and you carry the meaning of your name, "freedom" so well! There is no way to fully describe how much you've grown and changed this summer, but here are a few highlights:

- You can identify every U.S. President's picture, thanks to a deck of cards at Mimi and Didi's house that you have become obsessed with!

- Your most common phrase these days is, "Do it myself," or simply "I do it, do it, do it!!!" 

- You can jump off the side of the swimming pool (with floaties) into the water "by myself," while instructing momma and daddy to back away.

- You already proudly claim the role of "Big Sister" and love telling people about your "Baby Sisser in Momma's belly"

Those are only a few examples of your current milestones, but I will let pictures do the rest of the talking...

Reading with Grandma! You can't get enough of books, and you can pick out most letters of the alphabet.

Celebrating our sweet friend Lauren's wedding shower! You love getting fancy. 

You also love the freedom that comes with backyard days of summer...

Zoo days with friends were always a favorite outing!

You took your first swimming lessons and learned to jump off the side of the pool, go under water, and float on your back.

We loved celebrating Mammo and Pappo's 65th wedding anniversary!
It is so special for you to spend time with your great-grandparents.

"Just like Daddy," you finally got your own mower

Inspecting your garden harvest of green beans and okra... You look forward to checking the garden each day to see what is ready for you to pick! 

Worship flows freely from your little heart, and you love dancing at church...especially when you have a dress that twirls.

Our little reader, you "read" over 60 books this summer to complete a library reading program goal 

Only a few more months until you are officially a big sister, you have allowed Momma and Daddy to have several summer date nights!

You bring so much life to our growing family of 3! 

You are one of a kind, and we love seeing the ways that God made you uniquely YOU! We would beg for time to slow down, but somehow life with you just keeps getting better and better... We look forward to every new step of discovering who you are, and we are so blessed to be your parents.
